Normandy Le Chantier, Paris

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The rooms were incredibly spacious, with comfortable beds and large bathrooms. The only downside was that the room got too hot at night due to a malfunctioning pack-up system, making it hard to sleep. The location was superb, right outside the Louvre and within walking distance of all main attractions, although the metro was on strike during my visit. The service was exceptional, with helpful and kind staff always available. The dining experience, particularly the breakfast, was top-notch, although some might find the scrambled eggs too wet. Unfortunately, the card booking withdrew extra funds that have not been returned yet.

The hotel offers spacious rooms at a central location, but be prepared for some noise issues and lack of bedside amenities. The service is a mixed bag with welcoming staff but occasional unpleasant experiences. The location is excellent for exploring Paris but may have noise concerns. The dining experience varies from well-organized to disappointing. Overall, a decent hotel with some drawbacks to consider.

My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant. The room we got, although through an old part of the building, was huge and very comfortable, with a kind of historical feeling and design. However, having two single beds pressed together defeated the purpose of separate beds, and the shower tended to create a puddle in the bathroom. The service was very friendly and helpful, with the staff being super helpful with tips. The location was fantastic, close to major attractions like the Louvre museum and the Paris Metro, although the slow cleanup of tables was noticeable. The dining experience was generally good, especially the capuccino and natural juices. I enjoyed the delivered-to-room service, and although slow to take food/drink orders or clean up, it generally came with our package. The facilities were adequate, with a barbecue option available.
